Behavioral Health

Friendship Services endeavors to employ proactive measures rather than reactive ones. The behavioral health division of Friendship Services is here to provide resources and interventions before a crisis occurs. Our services in this division focus on the topics of mental health, wellness, and skill-based services.

Subsidized Therapy Sessions

As part of our organization, we work to raise and offer funds to individuals and families to receive subsidized therapy sessions. We offer referrals to one of our networked counselors and therapist for those dealing with mental health issues.

Support Groups

Friendship Services offers a variety of free counseling and recovery groups throughout the year. Examples include Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and Mental Health groups. We also give referrals for our out of house support groups as part of our service through our partnerships with other organizations and groups. Please reach out to our behavioral health division for more information on what support groups we are offering for the year.

Wellness

The purpose of our wellness program is to help promote healthy change. Friendship Services offers consultation assistance in exercise tips and self-care information. We also provide basic information on essential oils that will help to create a more calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Skills-Based/ Life Enrichment

Skills-based therapy has been proven to be the most effective form of rehabilitation in minors. Friendship Services offers programs that teach skills to minors, such as music, art, basic computer skills, etc. The goal is to help develop a sense of belonging and purpose to the minor in their community.
